Have you ever wondered about the origins of your morning cup of coffee? If you've ever searched for the history of coffee, you've probably come across the famous tale of how coffee was discovered in Ethiopia by a goat herder named Kaldi. A Passionate Encounter
It all started in 2017 when I had the opportunity to capture the essence of coffee through my videography work with Ashenafi, an experienced expert in the coffee industry. As we traveled through different coffee regions, I was fascinated by Ashenafi's knowledge and enthusiasm. He shared stories about coffee farmers, their unwavering dedication, and the meticulous process of selecting and cultivating high-quality coffee beans.
From Crop to Cup
These experiences ignited my interest and appreciation for coffee, leading me to collaborate with various coffee experts, exporters, and NGOs. Our journey continued to Yirgacheffe, Sidamo, Harrar, Jimma, Limu, Guji, Bonga, Agaro, and Zege each offering a unique coffee experience. Through my camera lens, I captured the picturesque beauty of these places, where coffee thrives in harmony with nature.
